Saturday is pretty easy, we can have a nice accumulator featuring the bankers. Clearly Chelsea and Manchester United at home should readily dispatch the opposition. They are short, but should have absolutely no trouble in winning.

Arsenal will prove to be a potent force this season in my view and as a result are a team to follow. They should beat teams like Blackburn away if they are to challenge for the Premier League title. I think they can be added to the banker list.

Our Weekend Premier League Football Betting Tips…

Arsenal v Blackpool….

If this was the first game of the Premier League season we would be saying Arsenal could hit double figures and they are certainties to win. That was before Blackpool beat Wigan 4-0 last week. However, make no mistake Arsenal are no Wigan, who I think are relegation candiates. Arsenal are genuine title contenders.

Arsenal have included captain Cesc Fabregas, striker Robin van Persie, midfielder Alex Song and defender Johan Djourou in the squad for tomorrow’s visit of Blackpool. However, summer signing Laurent Koscielny is suspended after the centre-back’s dismissal at Liverpool and Brazilian midfielder Denilson is still out with an abdominal injury.

They will be far too strong for Blackpool and at The Emirates they should win with considerable ease. I would also go for over 2.5 goals in this match. Arsenal a banker win.

Everton v Wolves…

I am going for a home win here for Everton against Wolves. Everton shoukd really be beating teams like Wolves at home. They had a bad strat to the campaign and will be keen to impress the fans here.

Everton captain Phil Neville is a slight doubt for Saturday’s Premier League clash against Wolves at Goodison Park. The former England international has a foot injury but boss David Moyes is hopeful he will be fit to feature. Striker Victor Anichebe is unlikely to play after having an injection in the knee to ease bone bruising. Moyes otherwise reports a fully-fit squad as Everton look to get their campaign up and running after last week’s loss to Blackburn.

Wigan v Chelsea…..

Wigan will be expecting a bombardment from a rampant Chelsea. Though they are away I fully expect Chelsea to hammer Wigan. Over 2.5 goals in this game looks a gimmie. Chelsea are the best bet of the weekend, for the multi-bet.

Chelsea’s new signing Ramires has trained with the squad but will not be involved in Saturday’s Premier League clash at Wigan Manager Carlo Ancelotti expects the £17million Brazilian midfielder to feature for the first time in next weekend’s game against Stoke. Chelsea have Branislav Ivanovic fit for the trip to the DW Stadium and Frank Lampard has recovered completely from an ankle knock.

An absolute stroll for Chelsea.

Over 2.5 Goals…

Fulham v Manchester United…

Mark Hughes takes on Sir Alex Ferguson but I see the usual outcome with United winning easily. Fulham have a modest squad and United, well it goes without saying.

Patrice Evra is set to shake off a minor knock and feature for Manchester United when they head to Fulham on Sunday. The full-back jarred his leg in a collision with an advertising hoarding in the latter stages of United’s opening-day win over Newcastle but has not been too badly hurt and Sir Alex Ferguson expects to have the former Monaco man available.

Wayne Rooney has gone 13 games for club and country since his last competitive goal, although he did score twice when United beat Fulham at Old Trafford in March, just before his present barren streak began. I wouldn’t be putting any money on Rooney finding the net.

An easy win for Manchester United.

Manchester City v Liverpool….

It has not been an easy start for Liverpool, first Arsenal, now Manchester City. I think this could be another draw, which Manchester City seem to specialise in.

Joe Cole will miss Liverpool’s Premier League trip to Manchester City on Monday through suspension but Javier Mascherano could return. Cole begins a three-match domestic ban after his sending off against Arsenal last weekend but Mascherano is making good progress in his recovery from a calf injury. Daniel Agger is less likely to feature after suffering concussion in the Arsenal game but the Dane has not yet been ruled out.

Captain Steven Gerrard will return after being rested for the Europa League tie against Trabzonspor and Fernando Torres is pushing for his first start of the season. Dirk Kuyt, Glen Johnson, David Ngog and Martin Skrtel could also be back while Christian Poulsen is in contention for a Premier League debut. New goalkeeper Brad Jones is likely to be on the bench. England midfielder James Milner is set to make his debut for Manchester City.

York Ebor Festival Ends Today

It is the closing day of the Ebor Festival. Here are todays Free Horseracing Tips from York……

2:15 York, Rainbow Peak, Win. A race that has been kind to favourites of late should go to RAINBOW PEAK, a tremendously progressive gelding from the Michael Jarvis yard. The lightly-raced four-year-old is held in some regard and that’s justified judging by his performances on the track, the pick of which a last-time-out Royal Ascot win off 107. That performance is all the more meritorious given that he’d have found the ground quick enough and the form is strong with the second filling that position in the John Smith’s Cup and the sixth horse landing a strong Goodwood handicap. He deserves this step up in grade and can score with something in hand.

3:25 Nunthorpe Stakes, Borderlescott, Each-Way, I think Equiano and Starspangledbanner will be the ones to beat this race over five furlongs, Equiano may be faster than Starspangledbanner and could win here. but, all eyes will be on the amazing Borderlescott who goes for the third successive Nunthorpe. No horse has won three in a row since Sharpo and I suspect that if Borderlescott does do it that the roof of the County Stand will be lifted off. They would probably name the race after him. Lets hope he can do it, he looks a good bet for a place and value for the win. I do think Equiano is the one to fear here.

Can Snow Fairy Upstage her Elders?

I ask that as a question, rather than make it as a statement. The honest answer is that I don’t know, the Yorkshire Oaks is a difficult puzzle to solve, but it looks a fascinating race between the best middle distance fillies in the land. Here are your Free Horseracing Tips for day three at York….

2:15 The Lowther Stakes, Maqaasid, Win. The Queen Mary winner in my view should have little problem in maintaining her unbeaten reputation. Despite having to concede weight to he rivals here I think she is potentially the real deal and it will take a good filly to go past her. I am delighted that she runs in the Sheilk Hamdan silks, which means backers will have Richard Hills on side. I am not convinced that John Gosden’s young stable jockey is quite the finished article, although I have no doubt he will be. I remember only too well the howler we saw on Duncan at Goodwood, but Hills has bags of skill and experience. Maqaasid is the best bet of the day.

3:25 The Yorkshire Oaks, Sariska, Win. To me this is a match between Sariska, last year’s dual Oaks winner and Snow Fairy, who has done the same this year. On official figures Midday is two pounds ahead of Sariska yet has finished behind her three times in the past. I see that as very poor work by the handicapper, there is a lot of that about in my view at present. Snow Fairy will have Richard Hughes in the saddle as Ryan Moore is out with a wrist injury, no bad thing in my view. Sariska has looked good this year and chased home Fame and Glory last time out, having got the better of Midday (yet again) here at York. Sariska has course form, which I think may make the difference. I think this is exceedingly tough to call, Snow Fairy could be a special filly but they don’t come much tougher than Sariska and if it comes to a battle she would be the one I would want. That said Snow Fairy may go too quick, but I am a Sariska fan and am not deserting her now! I can’t see Midday upsetting the form book, despite what the handicapper may think.

4:05 Galtres Stakes, Eldalil, Win. This is a listed contest but not a very good one in my view. I like to look at the best form on offer and though out of her depth in the Irish Oaks, Eldalil can get back to winning ways. Richard Hills is the man in the saddle again for us and I would be shocked if he was not fighting out the finish here. A weak race but a good bet is Eldalil.

Free Horseracing Tips

Two bets, two winners. How different they were. Rewilding won as easy as you like. Rip Van Winkle was a very narrow winner, under a great ride by Johnny Murtagh.

Rip Van Winkle gatecrashed the sponsor’s party as he stole the Juddmonte International at York from under the noses of Twice Over and Byword. Prince Khalid Abdullah has long coveted a race his breeding operation has been associated with for more than 20 years, but the wait must go on as neither of his flagbearers could last the full length of the unforgiving Knavesmire straight and were overwhelmed by Aidan O’Brien’s raider with 100 yards remaining.

Rewilding shot straight to the head of the St Leger market atfollowing his impressive four length success in the Great Voltigeur Stakes at York on Wednesday. Last seen coming home to good effect in third place in the Derby, Mahmood Al Zarooni’s colt was always travelling beautifully in the hands of Frankie Dettori. They went a good gallop up front, with Harris Tweed at the head of affairs, and Johnny Murtagh was keen not to let him get too far clear on Midas Touch.

Can Overturn Win the Ebor?

York, what an amazing place, it is simply the best racecourse in the world, very special. Let’s find some more winners on the Knavesmire today….

2:15 York, Lonsdale Cup, Illustrious Blue, Win. Now Ask is out, Illustrious Blue can follow up his amazing win at Goodwood by taking this Group Two contest. He has more weight to carry as a result of that win, but with no Ask in the field he can confirm his high rating and win for William Knight. Not a huge betting race, but I do think Illustrious Blue can win.

2:50 York, Casual Glimpse, Win. This is a Group 2 2 year-old race and all you have to do is find Richard Hughes and Richard Hannon don’t you? Casual Glimpse will not find this so straight forward with Approve looking to confirm his class for William Haggas who thinks a lot of his colt. I think however than Hannon could have chosen many others for this but goes with Sir Robert Ogden’s horse here. Casual Glimpse for me for the all conquering Hannon and Hughes team.

3:25 York, Overturn, Win. The Ebor, what a great race this always is. Dangerous Midge is one to watch, the Haydock win confirm that he is a horse with bags of ability and sits at the top of the weights officially the best horse in the field. However he has gone up in the weights and will find it tough. The horse I like, it is no surprise, is Overturn. What a horse he is, a winning machine both on the flat and over hurdles. He won the Northumberland Plate very well and up only six pounds for that he has since won at Galway to confirm his ability and well-being. Overturn is a good bet in my view for the Ebor.Early odds…

Rip Van Winkle, heads to York

Here are todays three bets in the feature races at York, free horseracing tips for Tuesday….

2:15, The Acomb Stakes, Dream Ahead, Win. Visually Dream Ahead was very impressive on his debut at Nottingham, he trotted up by nine lengths and looks a very decent two year-old indeed. I put his name in my notebook after that win and am delighted that I will get to see him in the flesh on the Knavesmire. I know that David Simcock thinks the world of this horse and he has wasted no time in stepping him up to play with the big boys. For me Dream Ahead will take this Acomb Stakes and get things off to a winning start.

2:50 The Great Voltigeur Stakes, Rewilding, Win. This is a fascinating race, a St Leger trial and a good mile and a half contest in it’s own right. For my money this is a show down between Rewilding and Monterosso. Rewilding was third in the Epsom Derby behind Workforce and the pace making At First Sight. Mark Johnston’s colt was fourth in the Irish Derby, but for me the Epsom form is stronger and Rewilding I think will provide the in form Godolphin stable a win at York, where they do very well.

3:25 The Juddmonte International Stakes, Rip Van Winkle, Win. What a great race, a Group 1 and a very good line up will compete for the £650,000 of added prize money. There is bags of quality on show here. I think twice Over will get the better of Byword, avenging their last meeting. I do not think Dick Turpin will stay the trip, but if he does then he will give the others something to think about of that low weight. I am firmly in the Rip Van Winkle camp here. Over ten furlongs he is yet to win, but he gets the trip well enough, look at the form with Sea The Stars last year. He showed he was back to his best against Canford Cliffs, when second over a mile. Ryan Moore was in the saddle that day but Johnny Murtagh is back here and I do believe that Rip Van Winkle will win this race quite easily. Best Bet Of the Day.
